Jakel Velodrome stands at the gateway to a new district in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The design concept draws on both a combination of European precedent - the urban edge of the French Riviera and Kuala Lumpur's contemporary vernacular of breathtaking vertical living spaces.

Located on a hilly side of Kuala Lumpur cityscapes, the towers rise to fifty-three storeys and are arranged in pairs in a wide, undulating curve, which suggests a wave form overlapping against the mountain side. Smaller ripples of projecting balconies take advantage of sunlight and uninterrupted views of Kuala Lumpur, whilst creating an offset arrangement of living spaces to enhance privacy amongst the residents.
